The Hippo Hike fundraising walk around the area Jodie used to walk her labrador Tetley was a huge success with over 100 people taking part and whilst the final sum has not yet been calculated it is expected that over £9000 has been raised for the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust in Jodie's name.

The weather on the day was perfect and the views were spectacular around the Welland Valley.... The enormous amount raised for such an important cause means a second Hippo Hike for 2008 is all but a certainty.

Heather, Trevor, Sam & Paul would like to thank all walkers and their sponsors for making the first ever Hippo Hike a success.

All walkers must return their sponsor forms with their sponsor money to either Paul Glass or Heather Adams as quickly as possible.  Should anyone require their forms and money to be collected please call 07803 269827 to arrange collection. The sponsor forms are required so that the charity can benefit from the "Gift Aid" option.
